Christmas Performance
The children in year 5 worked hard in the lead up to Christmas rehearsing for their performances. We hope you enjoy watching the children as much as they enjoyed performing!
Year 5 - The Stars come out for Christmas
Ancient Greek Day
Year 5 journeyed back to Ancient Greek times on Wednesday 20th October. Each class transformed into their own Ancient Greek civilisation. We had the Argives from Argos (5B), the Athenians from Athens (5M), the Megarians from Megara (5W), the Spartans from Sparta (5J) and of the Corinthians from Corinth (5M).
During the day the children played the ancient game of Petteia, listened to Greek Myths, took part in a pentathlon and learnt how to write using the Ancient Greek alphabet.
The children looked amazing in their Ancient Greek costumes – thank you to everyone who helped create the children’s fantastic outfits.
