Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC)

 

In June each year, children in year 4 will be entered for the MTC.  The purpose of the check is to determine whether children can recall their times tables (up to 12 x 12) fluently and at speed as this skills is considered essential for success in mathematics.
