To help you to keep up with your reading whilst you are unable to get to the school library, we have invested in myON - the online reading library.

Reading

This is going to be a great time to practise the reading skills you have learnt at school.  Read with an adult, read to an adult, read to your siblings or just cuddle up with a good book - the choice is yours.

 

When you do read, make sure you record it in your Home School Diary.  The reading can include books, magazines, newspapers etc.  We have suggested some links below that you might be interested in.

 

We suggest you read twice a day for about twenty minutes each.  This is only a minimum so if you get lost in a book - go for it!

 

Why not persuade an adult to read at the same time?

  • Audible - free children's books to download For as long as schools are closed, we're open. Right now, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across eight different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.
