Christmas Performance
The children in year 3 worked hard in the lead up to Christmas rehearsing for their performances. We hope you enjoy watching the children as much as they enjoyed performing!
Year 3 - Christmas Carol Performance
Diwali
On Friday 5th November, year 3 took part in a range of activities to help them to understand how Hindus and Sikhs celebrate Diwali. This was as part of their 'Celebrations' topic in which they will explore a range of festivals celebrated by major religions.
During the day, they engaged in a number of activities including learning the story of Rama and Sita and recreating it through dance led by a professional dancer. They also decorated the playground with their own Rangoli patterns using chalk.
Year 3 Stone Age Day
Year 3 travelled back thousands of years on Tuesday 19th October to the Stone Age period. They learnt how human beings have changed and evolved since this time. They also made stone age jewellery and created cave drawings.
The children looked great in their Stone Age costumes - thank you to everyone who helped create the children's fantastic outfits.
